Job description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Oracle Utilities Functional Lead to drive the successful implementation and management of Oracle Utilities applications within our organization. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams, designing innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of utility industry processes, system architecture, and a broad technical skill set that includes service-oriented architecture, solution architecture, and system design. - Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Utilities modules such as Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Work & Asset Management (WAM).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions aligned with business goals.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures integrating Oracle Utilities with other enterprise systems like Salesforce, Pegasystems, and various cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Oversee system integration using APIs, RESTful services, web services, and ETL processes to ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Manage system administration tasks including system hardening, vulnerability assessment, load balancing, firewall configuration, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices for efficient development cycles.
- Provide technical leadership in areas such as cloud security, virtualization (VMware/ESXi), container orchestration with Kubernetes, and network security including VPNs and DNS management.
- Conduct system troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and capacity planning to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Solution architecture?, * Extensive experience leading Oracle Utilities implementations or upgrades in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, system design, and systems engineering principles.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases (Oracle SQL/PLSQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL databases, and web technologies including JavaScript, C#, .NET frameworks, XML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies such as VMware or ESXi.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages (Bash/Shell scripting), and DevOps tools like Jenkins or Git.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including vulnerability management, threat intelligence, system hardening techniques, GPO policies, DHCP configuration, network security protocols such as firewalls and DNS management.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as Salesforce CRM or Pegasystems BPM is a plus.
