SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE PRODUCT AUTOMATION TESTER (#YS-0502)

Provide technical support to the Product Team, engaging at the earliest stages of the development lifecycle to translate business requirements into automated validation prototypes. Develop software systems that simulate complex product logic and manage synthetic data environments, ensuring that feature feasibility is technically verified before code is even written. Support the integration of automated “Quality Gates” and accessibility compliance audits directly into the architectural design and delivery pipelines. Develop high-level observability frameworks and telemetry hooks to monitor live product performance, bridging the gap between initial product concepts and long-term technical health. Support the automation strategy from the requirements phase through to production, providing high-level technical oversight for the entire engineering ecosystem. Employment is contingent on passing background checks standard for healthcare related industries.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• One year of experience in software testing; employer will accept pre- and post-Bachelor’s degree experience.
• Position requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

• Work experience to include:

• One year of experience in QA automation.

• One year of experience working with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

• One year of experience with at least one of the following automation testing frameworks: Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or TestNG.

• One year of experience with at least one of the following version control systems: Git, SVN, or Mercurial.

• One year of experience with cross-functional collaboration with development, product, and business teams to define and clarify software product requirements and test cases.

• One year of programming experience in at least one of the following scripting languages: Python, Java, Typescript, or JavaScript.

• Utilizing manual testing tools in at least one of the following tools: Testrail, Zephyr, or Xray.

• Utilizing SQL for data validation, manipulation, and testing.

• Working with tools for testing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), in at least one of the following: Postman, Insomnia, Apidog, or SoapUI.

• Conducting functional, regression, integration, security, and usability testing.

• Experience with at least one of the following project management and issue-tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Github, Asana, ClickUp, or Trello.

• Utilizing software observability software to monitor software performance and user-flow success in live environments in at least one of the following: Datadog, Elastic Stack, Dynatrace, Splunk, or New Relic.

• Testing ADA and WCAG compliance with one of the following accessibility audit tools: Axecore, WAVE, or Lighthouse.

Any and all experience can be gained concurrently.

• Applicants are required to complete and pass a take-home written test along with a programming assessment.
