Senior Software Engineer Cloud & B2B Systems Integration

Position contingent on contract award - d etails below are subject to change based on final award., The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement enterprisescale cloud applications and integration services supporting missioncritical systems. This role requires advanced software engineering skills and extensive experience with B2B data exchange standards such as EDI and HL7. The position focuses on Azurebased integration development, cloud modernization, and delivery of scalable solutions across complex environments.

• Implement B2B integrations leveraging EDI, HL7, FHIR, and related industry-standard exchange protocols.
• Build and maintain APIdriven systems, enterprise messaging pipelines, and cloudnative integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
• Modernize legacy applications through refactoring, cloud migration, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to define integration patterns, cloud strategies, and modernization approaches.
• Integrate emerging technologies such as AIassistive tooling, advanced APIs, and automation services into cloud and integration solutions.
• Other duties as assigned

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of handson experience with Azure Logic Apps or comparable cloud integration tools
• 3+ years of direct experience with Azure cloud development; AWS experience beneficial
• Experience with B2B integrations (EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, structured data formats)
• Experience designing or supporting cloud-based systems and integration pipelines
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, or refactoring
• Experience with SQL, including experience with relational database development and data modeling
• Experience working with Power BI or similar analytics/reporting platforms
• Bachelors degree required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination

Preferred:

• Experience with TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise integration platforms
• Experience with SAP HANA
• Experience with Node.js, Angular, or React
• Experience developing AI-assisted or AI-enhanced application features
• Experience with identity/authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OpenID Connect)
• Knowledge of advanced networking concepts (DNS, routing, subnetting)
