Job description

The Lead IT Systems & Security Administrator will play a key role in supporting and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud systems, and end-user technology environment. This hands-on position combines systems administration, security operations, technical support, and vendor coordination within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive and service-oriented IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting users, and contributing to ongoing technology improvements across the organization., * Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, and related cloud-based systems and user access controls

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, virtualization environments, endpoint systems, and network resources
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for desktops, mobile devices, VoIP systems, printers, conferencing tools, and end-user applications. Will lead / mentor a small team of help desk individuals.
  • Support cybersecurity operations through incident response, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection tools
  • Manage backup solutions, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity support initiatives
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers related to hardware, software licensing, telecommunications, and security systems
  • Maintain IT documentation, technical procedures, knowledge base materials, and end-user training resources

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Minimum 6 years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support roles

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, Azure AD, and user account management
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, endpoint devices, and cloud-based collaboration platforms
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, incident response processes, and IT security best practices
  • Experience supporting virtualization platforms, backup systems, and network troubleshooting preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and technical documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, mentor and collaborate across departments
  • Certifications such as MCSE, Okta certifications, or related technical credentials are highly preferred., * microsoft 365: 5 years (Required)
