Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 50% backend (Java/Spring) and 50% frontend (React/Redux/JavaScript) expertise to join our team in Mountain View, CA. This role involves building scalable web applications, designing robust backend services, and creating rich, responsive user interfaces. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable architecting backend systems and crafting modern frontend experiences., Backend (50%)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build and secure REST APIs with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT.
• Work with Apache Kafka to design distributed, real-time data pipelines and messaging systems.
• Model and query MongoDB and Oracle databases for high-performance data handling.
• Apply advanced design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Observer, Adapter, etc.) to ensure maintainable architecture.
• Optimize backend performance through efficient algorithms and data structures.

Frontend (50%)

• Develop responsive web applications using React, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML/CSS.
• Build reusable UI components and manage complex application states using Redux.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Core Java (Java 8+), Spring, Spring Boot strong expertise in backend development.
• React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript strong expertise in frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (topics, producers/consumers, partitions, offsets).
• Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Ability to apply a wide range of design patterns to solve complex architectural challenges.
• Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD pipelines, and code review best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams., * 9+ years of professional software development experience, with a balanced focus on backend and frontend systems.
• Demonstrated success in full-stack application development with modern Java and React frameworks.
• Experience working in distributed systems and real-time data environments.
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and reusable architecture.
• Local to Bay Area, CA and available to work onsite in Mountain View.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or Next.js.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress).
