Applications Engineer

We’re hiring an Applications Engineer to support and enhance the business-critical applications that power our global operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in multi-system environments, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and wants to work across ERP, databases, reporting, and custom applications.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, first-shift position with rotating start times between 6am and 8am
• Hybrid schedule offering a balance of onsite and remote work
• IT Team alternates between one week in the Renton office and one week working remotely; Office weeks are scheduled Thursday through Wednesday

Core Technical Responsibilities

• Application lifecycle management - Install, configure, maintain, and support COTS and custom applications across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, and Payroll.
• ERP support - Support Dynamics GP environments, including manufacturing/distribution modules and multiple ISV add-ons.
• Database administration - Work extensively in SQL Server Management Studio; manage database objects, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security.
• Reporting & data extraction - Build and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS, Crystal Reports, Report Builder, and T-SQL.
• Monitoring & performance - Configure monitoring tools and troubleshoot system performance issues, especially database-related.
• Change control & documentation - Enforce change management policies and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation.
• General IT Support - Provide Level 1-2 support, resolve escalated helpdesk issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Web & application development - Contribute to internal tools using C#, ASP.NET (Forms, MVC, Core), and IIS-hosted applications.

• Strong experience supporting ERP or business applications (Dynamics GP preferred).
• Solid SQL Server skills: T-SQL, performance tuning, database design, security, backup/recovery.
• Experience with reporting platforms (SSRS, Crystal, Report Builder).
• Ability to diagnose complex application issues across Windows environments.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, IIS, or intranet web applications is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
