Job description

  • Build, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure
  • Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines and related cloud resources
  • Configure Azure networking, security settings, connectivity, and access
  • Administer Azure Storage and other cloud infrastructure services
  • Support Azure App Services and Azure Functions environments
  • Monitor cloud resource usage, performance, and costs
  • Administer Active Directory / Entra ID and access policies
  • Manage Windows Server and virtualized infrastructure
  • Support VMware and other virtualization technologies
  • Assist with cloud backups, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resiliency
  • Troubleshoot server, network, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure issues
  • Use PowerShell and other tools to automate routine administrative tasks
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, implementations, and other technical projects

Requirements

Cloud Engineer opportunity for an infrastructure professional with 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience and a background in server administration, virtualization, networking, and Windows environments. This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on building, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Azure cloud environments.

Microsoft Azure experience is the key requirement. Candidates with strong infrastructure backgrounds who may not have every technology listed below are encouraged to apply., * 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience

  • Experience administering and configuring Azure infrastructure
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, or related Azure services
  • Azure Storage and cloud-based data/file storage
  • Azure networking, including VPNs, virtual networks, subnets, or security configurations
  • Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • VMware / virtualization experience
  • Server provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with backup and/or disaster recovery solutions
  • PowerShell scripting or other infrastructure automation
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure across servers, networking, cloud, and virtualization environments, * Azure certification
  • Linux administration
  • Experience with GoAnywhere MFT
  • Experience with Azure cost management or cloud cost analysis
