Job description

This is a great opportunity for a Managed Security Specialist to join a growing Solutions Team and support the continued expansion of the organization’s managed security portfolio. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and service delivery teams to support customer engagement, sales enablement, and opportunity development. Day to day, this involves qualifying and progressing opportunities, presenting managed security solutions to prospective customers, and supporting high-quality proposals, tenders, and bid responses. The role also includes delivering enablement sessions to internal sales teams to help them better identify and position managed security opportunities.   • Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to identify, qualify and progress opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted specialist resource during customer engagements, service introduction calls and solution discussions.
  • Present and demonstrate managed security solutions to prospective customers.
  • Support the creation of high-quality proposals, tenders and bid responses.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand service capabilities, operations and customer outcomes.
  • Deliver enablement sessions to internal sales teams, helping them identify and position managed security opportunities.

Requirements

Skills/Must have:

  • Understanding of managed security services and the wider cyber security market.
  • Awareness of modern cyber security technologies, including SIEM, XDR and EDR solutions.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Security ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting cyber security sales, pre-sales or customer engagement activities.
