Job description

  • Manage, support and improve client cloud infrastructure and security environments.
  • Create scripts and automation to improve cloud deployments and reporting, particularly within SharePoint.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex firewall and networking queries.
  • Configure, test and deploy updates to firewalls, routers and associated network infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate security, network and infrastructure documentation.
  • Support and develop Microsoft 365, Conditional Access, SharePoint and MDM environments.
  • Work with third-party suppliers to deliver technical services and solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Manage multiple client requirements and technical projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies, product releases, licensing and pricing changes.
  • Understand solution costs, engineering time and commercial considerations to ensure clients receive strong ROI.
  • Support the wider engineering team by sharing knowledge and improving technical standards.

  • DevOps, We are a growing Managed Service Provider offering a senior cloud engineering opportunity in South West London. This is an office-based role working 40 hours per week, typically 09:00-17:30, with occasional client-site travel and a four-week rota that includes an early start as well as occasional Saturday emergency support for a small number of key clients. You will join a small, highly skilled engineering team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the wider support team. We offer broad exposure to cloud, infrastructure, networking and security technologies, genuine ownership of the technical environment, the chance to influence standards and future technology decisions, and long-term progression opportunities up to senior leadership and potentially Director level. Requirements

  • Strong experience working within an IT support or MSP environment.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise firewalls; FortiGate/Fortinet experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 / Office 365 knowledge.
  • Experience with Conditional Access and SharePoint administration.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls and routers.
  • Excellent Windows hardware and infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience responding to or supporting cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Power BI knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Relevant technical certifications are desirable, although demonstrable experience and a commitment to continually developing technical knowledge are equally important.
