Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex desktop and cloud applications using modern software engineering practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, code-generation tools, and automated testing assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Team Lead and Product Owner to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Communicate risks, trade-offs, progress, and technical challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt relevant technologies, frameworks, cloud services, and AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

  • Software Engineer: 3 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Senior Software Engineer: 5 to 15 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience building and delivering complex, production-grade software applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET.
  • Experience developing desktop applications and/or cloud-based software solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, testing methodologies, version control, and code review practices.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience modernizing legacy software and migrating mature C/C++ codebases to modern technologies while maintaining performance and accuracy.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience building, configuring, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools.
  • Experience modernizing desktop applications, including UI/UX improvements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to take initiative within a team environment.
