Job description

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs, working with databases, and implementing scalable microservices. You will collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, performant server-side applications., * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and modern frameworks (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc.).

  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
  • Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Develop and maintain microservices architecture and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, messaging systems).
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
  • Write clean, testable code following modern coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate in Agile sprints with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA testers.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control systems?, * 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.

  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and middleware.
  • Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Hapi.js.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment and cloud management.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
  • Experience with unit and integration testing (Mocha, Jest, Supertest).
  • Familiarity with Agile development tools like Jira or Trello.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Understanding of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions).
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and GraphQL.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and container orchestration.
  • Relevant certifications in Node.js, AWS, or Docker are a plus.
