Job description

We are looking for an experienced Database Reliability Engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL environments. You’ll ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across large-scale, cloud-based database systems., * Design and manage highly available PostgreSQL architectures using AWS RDS and Aurora.

Optimize queries, indexes, partitioning, and database performance.
Manage backup, replication, recovery, and failover processes.
Troubleshoot slow queries, locks, deadlocks, and database bottlenecks.
Automate database maintenance and reliability workflows.
Support data migrations, application scaling, and operational improvements.
Maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

PostgreSQL
AWS RDS & Aurora PostgreSQL
High-Availability Architecture
Large-Scale Databases
Database Performance Optimization
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Replication & Failover, * 5+ years of production PostgreSQL experience.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and replication.
Experience managing large-scale, high-traffic databases.
Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
Experience with data platforms, ETL, analytics workloads, and monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
