This is a pivotal moment for Google SecOps. You will lead the charge in scaling a billion-dollar product from 1,500 to 15,000 customers, requiring unprecedented architectural resilience and operational excellence. You will lead the ‘Agentic SOC’ initiative-the industry’s move toward an AI-driven, autonomous security operations center-and oversee one of our most critical technical transformations: the migration of our massive data footprint from F1/Spanner to BigQuery to unlock next-generation analytics and cost-efficiency. • Define and execute the long-term technical vision and strategy for the Google SecOps engineering organization. Partner with product management, research, and other engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of impactful customer value through Google Cloud Security products and services.
• Build, mentor, and lead a global engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Partner closely with product management leadership to ensure seamless product integration and a roadmap that meets the evolving needs of the security market.
• Directly oversee the architectural migration from F1/Spanner to BigQuery, ensuring zero-downtime and enhanced performance for our customers.
• Lead the technical development of the Agentic SOC initiative, driving the integration of advanced AI and automation into the core analyst workflow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in software development, with 5 years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience leading and managing a team of software engineers.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI/ML, platform development, distributed systems, cybersecurity.
