Application Programmer III

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications for Online Banking and Mobile Web platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java-based technologies.
• Develop responsive and accessible web applications with modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Create automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to improve quality and reliability.
• Monitor performance and address scalability, resiliency, and availability concerns.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support releases across environments.
• Drive continuous improvement using AI-assisted development, DevOps practices, and automation.

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Online Banking, Mobile Web & APIs) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks and a proven ability to design, deliver, and support scalable, secure, and highly available digital banking solutions.

Role Logistics

• Approved location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience with enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Back end: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, SQL/Oracle and NoSQL, Git-based source control.
• Front end: Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design.
• DevOps & automation: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, test automation, OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Cloud & architecture: Cloud-native development, containerization, API security, distributed systems, event-driven architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
• Understanding of secure application development principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting large-scale consumer-facing digital platforms.
• Background in Online Banking, Mobile Banking, or Financial Services applications.
• Knowledge of API Gateway technologies and API lifecycle management.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Experience with performance engineering and observability tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
