Catia Programmer

The Engineer / CATIA Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs and fixture designs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. This position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support efficient production, improve machining processes, and ensure high-quality aerospace components., * Program and optimize 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines using CATIA V5.

• Select cutting tools and determine appropriate machining speeds and feeds.
• Develop manufacturing processes, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Design fixtures and workholding solutions for production.
• Maintain and improve CNC programs and production setups.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to improve efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Machining teams.
• Follow company safety policies and perform other assigned duties.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of CATIA V5 programming experience.
• Minimum 2 years of aerospace or aerostructures manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Lift up to 35 lbs. to chest level and occasionally up to 25 lbs. overhead.
