Data & Ai Architect - Life Sciences

Experteer Overview As a Manager / Senior Data u**amp; AI Architect in Barcelona, you will bridge strategy, business, and technology for Life Sciences.You’ll lead end-to-end data and AI architecture design, guide delivery, and shape reusable capabilities.You’ll engage in pre-sales, articulate complex decisions to executives, and mentor teams to scale solutions.This role combines hands-on technical depth with client-facing and commercial responsibilities to grow our Life Sciences practice.You’ll join a global Data u*amp; AI team while collaborating locally across Iberia and with broader BIP geographies.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Design end-to-end Data, Analytics and AI architectures (data lake/lakehouse, integration, governance, ML/GenAI, AI agents). Translate Life Sciences business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.* Act as trusted technical advisor to CIOs/CDOs and architecture teams; lead pre-sales activities and client workshops.* Collaborate with commercial leaders to identify and mature opportunities; contribute to proposals and roadmaps.* Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams (data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, AI specialists).* Define architecture standards across security, observability, MLOps/LLMOps, governance and data quality.* Ensure production operability, performance, security, cost control and long-term scalability.* Mentor junior colleagues and promote best practices through design reviews and knowledge sharing.Responsabilidades * 7+ years of experience in data/analytics/cloud/AI with architecture or technical lead responsibilities.* Proven Life Sciences domain knowledge and understanding of regulatory context.* Experience designing modern data solutions (lake/lakehouse, warehouse, streaming, APIs, governance).* Deep knowledge of at least one major hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and multi-cloud capability.* Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, BigQuery or equivalent.* Strong SQL and Python; working knowledge of Spark and distributed systems.* Knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI architectures (LLMs, RAG, agents, vector search, guardrails, observability).* Strong client-facing experience and ability to present to technical and executive audiences; pre-sales experience.* Professional English (C1) and Spanish; Italian or Portuguese a plus.* Willingness for hybrid work in Barcelona and occasional travel.Requisitos principales * hybrid working model * private health insurance * wellness platforms * meal vouchers * parental leave benefits * training and certifications
