zTPF Developer/Assesmbler

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated zTPF Developer/Assembler to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining zTPF (Zach Trust Programming Framework) systems to support enterprise solutions. Your expertise will drive the integration of complex mainframe environments with modern architectures, ensuring seamless system performance and security. Duties

• Design, develop, and assemble zTPF applications to meet business requirements, leveraging extensive knowledge of system architecture and solution architecture principles.
• Implement and optimize zTPF modules in accordance with enterprise standards, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, system engineers, and solution architects to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct system troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning to resolve issues related to zTPF applications and infrastructure components.
• Integrate zTPF systems with other enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, or database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Manage configuration control using version control tools like Git or similar systems; ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or similar automation frameworks for efficient software delivery.
• Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to uphold IT infrastructure security standards including cloud security protocols like AWS or Azure.
• Develop scripting solutions in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and system management tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system design, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

• Proven experience in zTPF development or assembler programming within enterprise mainframe environments.
• Strong background in service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, and systems integration across diverse platforms.
• Hands-on experience with software development methodologies including Agile and SDLC frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases; proficiency in SQL/T-SQL is essential.
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux/Unix environments; experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting complex system issues involving network configurations such as VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP services; understanding of computer networking fundamentals is required.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills in requirements analysis and business process modeling; excellent cross-functional communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
• Knowledge of application development frameworks such as C#, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services; familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
