Job description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare EDI Tech Lead / Developer with strong expertise in healthcare data, EDI transactions, Microsoft BizTalk, and 834 configuration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting healthcare EDI interfaces and integrations. The candidate should have a strong understanding of healthcare payer/insurance data, enrollment transactions, EDI standards, and the HIPAA X12 834 Enrollment transaction. Experience working with BizTalk-based integration solutions and troubleshooting complex EDI issues is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, test, and support healthcare EDI integrations.
Develop and maintain EDI 834 Enrollment interfaces and configurations.
Work with healthcare enrollment, member, eligibility, and insurance data.
Develop and maintain Microsoft BizTalk interfaces, orchestrations, maps, schemas, and pipelines.
Analyze and troubleshoot inbound and outbound EDI transactions.
Perform EDI mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.
Work with HIPAA X12 transactions and healthcare EDI standards.
Collaborate with business analysts, healthcare SMEs, QA teams, and integration teams.
Analyze transaction failures and resolve data/interface issues.
Support production interfaces and provide technical troubleshooting.
Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
Review EDI files and identify data, mapping, and configuration issues.
Develop technical documentation, interface specifications, mapping documents, and support procedures.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers.
Ensure integrations comply with healthcare and HIPAA-related requirements.

Requirements

Strong experience in Healthcare EDI development and integration.
Hands-on experience with EDI 834 Enrollment transactions.
Strong knowledge of Healthcare enrollment and member data.
Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server.
Experience developing/configuring BizTalk maps, schemas, orchestrations, pipelines, and interfaces.
Strong understanding of HIPAA X12 EDI standards.
Experience with EDI mapping and data transformation.
Experience troubleshooting EDI transaction and interface failures.
Knowledge of healthcare payer/insurance systems and enrollment processes.
Strong SQL/database knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
Experience with interface testing and production support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.

Preferred Skills

Experience with additional healthcare EDI transactions such as 270/271, 834, 837, and 835.
Experience with healthcare eligibility and enrollment systems.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements.
Experience with API and web-service integrations.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Experience providing technical leadership on EDI integration projects.
