Job description

The Hardware / Controls Engineer is responsible to design systems of electrical and fluid controls for a variety of applications. The candidate will be assigned to one of our Engineering project teams, mentored by a Senior Designer or a Technical Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities Main areas of responsibilities are:

  • Design systems of electrical and fluid controls for a variety of applications including welders, robots, assembly, conveyance, and transfer systems.
  • Apply knowledge, principles and techniques in engineering and computer science to generate required hardware design schematics
  • Develop software system programming and documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering preferred
  • Entry level position, although some controls background aptitude, and desire is preferred.
  • Experience with ECAD or EPLAN
  • Capability to project drawing views
  • Flexible regarding travel, may have to travel based on project priorities and customer / supplier locations.
  • Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point) - Required
