Senior Software Engineer Role (Kotlin)Asegúrese de leer la descripción completa a continuación y, si confía en que cumple todos los requisitos, envíe su solicitud de inmediato.You’ll join a close-knit engineering function of around 9 engineers , giving you plenty of ownership, visibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on technical decisions and how the platform evolves.One of the key projects will involve modernising the existing technology platform and migrating from PHP to Kotlin .You’ll work closely with engineering and product while remaining firmly hands-on with development and delivery .What We’re Looking ForStrong commercial experience with Java or KotlinStrong backend software engineering experienceCurrently hands-on with coding and comfortable working in a highly technical roleExperience with cloud technologies , ideally AWSExperience building and maintaining modern, scalable backend applicationsStrong communication and collaboration skillsComfortable working within a smaller engineering team with significant ownershipParticularly Valuable ExperienceExperience within FinTech, banking, payments, lending, insurance or wider financial services would be a strong advantage.We’re also particularly interested in engineers who have worked on:Legacy modernisation or technology migration projectsMigration into Java/Kotlin environmentsAWS and cloud-native architecturesSmaller product engineering teams with end-to-end ownershipPractical use of AI within software xqysrnh developmentLocation & EmploymentThis is a permanent position and candidates must be based in, or able to be permanently employed in:UK

Requirements

Strong commercial experience with Java or Kotlin Strong backend software engineering experience Currently hands-on with coding and comfortable working in a highly technical role Experience with cloud technologies , ideally AWS Experience building and maintaining modern, scalable backend applications Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working within a smaller engineering team with significant ownership Particularly Valuable Experience Experience within FinTech, banking, payments, lending, insurance or wider financial services would be a strong advantage.
