Junior Applications Engineer (f/m/d)Business Division: Portable Metrology & Automation SolutionsLocation: Vitoria or Bilbao (Hybrid)Requisition: **Short DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated, curious, and enthusiastic Junior Applications Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team in Vitoria. This position is an excellent opportunity to start or accelerate your career by developing technical expertise in industrial metrology, automation, robotics, and quality control solutions, while participating in international projects and collaborating with some of the world’s leading manufacturing companies. No previous professional experience is required. You will receive a structured training programme that will enable you to develop the skills needed to support technical demonstrations, application development, system implementation, customer training, and technical support activities.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform technical demonstrations and customer presentations.Support application development and testing activities.Participate in the installation, commissioning, validation, and acceptance (FAT/SAT) of metrology systems.Support the troubleshooting of customer technical issues.Assist with project implementation activities, both remotely and at customer sites.Develop measurement programs and inspection routines.Document project results and implemented technical solutions.Support the delivery of technical training sessions and help customers adopt best practices for metrology solutions.Develop technical expertise in Hexagon products and solutions.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and product enhancement opportunities.QualificationsMandatoryBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.B2 level or higher in English.Basic understanding of engineering principles and the ability to read technical drawings.Interest in manufacturing technologies, automation, and quality control.Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.Good communication skills and a customer?oriented mindset.Willingness to travel internationally up to ***% of the time.Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.DesirableInternship or project experience within manufacturing, automation, robotics, quality, or metrology environments.Hands?on experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or quality environments.Knowledge of French.Knowledge of CAD software.Basic understanding of GD&T.Experience or exposure to industrial robotics.Experience with measurement equipment or quality systems.Programming knowledge.What We OfferA structured training programme to develop your technical knowledge and support your professional growth.The opportunity to be part of an international Applications Engineering team with colleagues across Spain, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.A hybrid working model and the opportunity to collaborate with international customers and projects.A collaborative working environment where you can learn from experienced professionals and develop your potential.Career development opportunities within a global leader in metrology and digital manufacturing solutions.At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, we believe that diverse teams drive innovation and excellence. Requirements

Mandatory Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. B2 level or higher in English. Basic understanding of engineering principles and the ability to read technical drawings. Interest in manufacturing technologies, automation, and quality control. Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally. Good communication skills and a customer?oriented mindset.
