Job description

The Senior Technical Program Manager leads complex, organization-wide change initiatives and provides strategic direction for the change management lifecycle. This role architects new approaches for change management, drives organizational transformation, and influences enterprise-level outcomes while serving as an escalation point for complex issues.

Operations Change Management (OCM) is a critical function within GDCO that enables safe, efficient, and value-driven changes for operations, engineering, and other support teams. The TPM is expected to connect tactical execution to strategic outcomes, shaping how Amazon manages and learns from its tooling changes., Lead complex, network-wide change initiatives across the seven-phase change management framework (Intake through Closure)

  • Develop scalable frameworks and innovative methodologies for change management processes
  • Drive organizational transformation and connect tactical execution to strategic outcomes
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships (up to L10) and present strategic narratives to leadership
  • Mentor team members and develop future talent
  • Manage multiple strategic programs simultaneously, handling escalations and complex problem-solving
  • Architect new methodologies that enhance operational excellence and eliminate systemic bottlenecks
  • Create comprehensive strategies measuring operational impact (CTEI, CVIR, Dwell Time, Day 90+ Adoption)
  • Author 6-pagers, MBR/QBR/HBR/YBR documents, COEs, and PR/FAQs
  • Drive continuous improvement through systematic analysis and best practice adoption across the network

A day in the life ️ Morning - You wrangle stakeholders like a cat herder with a strategy deck. A network-wide change initiative needs your magic touch - and your calendar already looks like a game of Tetris.

️ Midday - You’re polishing a 6-pager for leadership, turning “we moved some tickets” into a compelling transformation narrative. Shakespeare could never.

Afternoon - You mentor junior TPM, architect a scalable framework, and casually check your CTEI metrics like a pilot scanning instruments mid-flight.
