Junior HW/SW Integration Engineer for Navigation Systems In embedded navigation projects for defence, every technical decision has an impact on the reliability, performance and integration of the final system.At GMV, you will be able to develop your career by contributing to technological solutions applied to the military aeronautics domain, as part of a specialized team where you will work with embedded software, hardware, signal processing and system-level testing.WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?You will join our team to participate in HW/SW integration activities for embedded navigation systems, contributing to different phases of the system development lifecycle: from architecture definition to software deployment, optimization and validation on the selected hardware.Your main responsibilities will include:Participating in HW/SW integration of embedded software for navigation systems in the defence sector.Supporting the definition and selection of the target hardware, assessing its technical feasibility to support the required algorithmic load.Contributing to the porting, optimization and deployment of embedded software on the selected hardware.Developing low-level software for embedded systems.Taking part in testing, continuous integration and system validation activities.Working closely with engineering teams to ensure proper integration between hardware, software and navigation algorithms.WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?For this position, we are looking for a Telecommunications, Electronics or related Engineering graduate, with at least 2 years of experience and an interest in embedded systems, navigation and technology development applied to the defence sector.We need you to bring experience and knowledge in:HW/SW integration processes for embedded systems.Software development with C/C++, Git and continuous integration.Digital signal processing techniques, such as FFT, filters and related methods.Efficient processing techniques, including floating/fixed point, SIMD, cache and performance optimization.HW/SW integration activities in embedded systems environments.We will also value:Knowledge of GNSS signal processing.Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR).If you are a junior profile with solid initial experience, this role will allow you to keep growing in a demanding technical environment, supported by specialized teams and contributing to navigation projects with real application in the military aeronautics domain.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybridworking model and 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.Flexible start and finish times, and intensive working hours Fridays and insummer.Personalizedcareer plan development, training and language learning support.National and international mobility.Do you come from another country?We can offer you a relocation package.Competitivecompensation with ongoing reviews, flexible compensation and discount on brands.Wellbeingprogram: Health, dental and accident insurance; free fruit and coffee, physical, mental and financialhealth training, and much more!In our recruitment processes youwill always have telephone and personal contact, face-to-face or online, withour talent acquisition team.In addition
