Software Developer

• Utilize your Java and SQL skills to write reliable, well-tested backend code that supports meaningful education insights.
• Design backend systems and processes that deliver the EVAAS web application to educators in a scalable and repeatable fashion.
• Work with the team from design through implementation to evolve the EVAAS web application and supporting backend systems.

Software Developer - Back-End (2-5 years of experience), * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field with 2-5 years of professional full-time experience.

• At least 2 years of experience with:
• Java programming
• Developing and delivering Web-based applications
• Relational databases
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

• Location: Cary HQ, hybrid (minimum of 3 days in the office per week), * Experience with the following:
• Spring Framework
• Maven and the Project Object Model (POM)
• Various static or interactive code scanning tools
• Documenting decisions, processes, and code
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Git and GitHub
