SAP Production Planning (PP-PI) & IS-Oil Consultant

job summary: We are seeking a senior SAP Functional Subject Matter Expert to join an enterprise SAP Application Management Support team serving the energy and chemical sectors. In this role, you will partner with international business and technical teams to streamline production execution, optimize silo tank operations, and ensure system capabilities match operational strategies.

responsibilities:

• Lead functional design, configuration validation, and continuous improvement for SAP PP-PI and IS-Oil systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-functional issues in production execution and silo tank management.
• Partner with global stakeholders across US and European locations to translate business needs into robust system capabilities.
• Create documentation and lead knowledge-transfer initiatives for operational teams.

qualifications: 10+ years of functional experience in SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI).

5+ years of specialized experience in SAP IS-Oil (Downstream / Silo Tank Management).

Strong domain background within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Chemical industries.

Excellent English communication skills and full availability to cover US working hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Functional familiarity with SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).

Experience in multi-national application support environments across US and European teams.
