• Support requirements analysis, software architecture, detailed design, coding, unit testing, integration, and system testing activities.
• Develop software primarily using C/C++ in Linux-based environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in embedded systems.
• Ensure software complies with established engineering standards and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing object-oriented software using C/C++.
• Experience working within Linux-based development environments.
• Experience developing, testing, and debugging embedded real-time software.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), such as:
• VxWorks
• Integrity
• LynxOS
• Yocto Linux
• Similar RTOS platforms
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to meet security clearance requirements.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V processor architectures.
• Experience supporting hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and computer-in-the-loop (CIL) testing environments.
• Experience with system integration efforts involving complex embedded platforms.
