AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

The DINM Team is responsible for maintaining the DI-N and DI-NIL architecture and services. There are levels of support needed throughout which will include operations in the cloud. Overall management of cloud systems and monitoring of the environment will be required including system deployments, networking, VPC creation and management, security group maintenance, volume creation and maintenance, and backup and recovery actions needed. \n

• \n The support effort will also include working with customers to ensure the needed environment is configured properly and access has been configured to allow a least privilege concept during stakeholder activities within the environment. \n

• \n Full documentation of builds and configurations utilized within the environment are mandatory as well as process flow documentation to ensure all required tasks are documented and repeatable. \n

• \n Additional duties will include backing up other personnel in support of the DI-NIL effort which is focused on Verification and Validation for the Digital Infrastructure Network. \n

• \n Cost Management & Optimization: Analyzing AWS systems and services and identifying cost-saving opportunities. \n

• \n Security & Governance: Understanding the shared responsibility model, managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) at a high level, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. \n

• \n Support & Deployment Support: Assisting with technical, project-based work, managing support tickets, and ensuring cloud environments are secure and available. \n

• \n Cloud Operations: Monitoring system performance, forecasting, and assisting with cloud migration strategies. \n

Bachelor’s degree and 8-15 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 6-13 years of prior relevant experience or demonstratable experience as a Subject Matter Expert. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree., Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. \n

• \n Demonstrable knowledge of AWS Cloud concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs \n

• \n Demonstrable experience in design review participation and providing customer centric input \n

• \n Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems. \n

• \n Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities. \n

• \n Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience \n

• \n Mid-level network understanding \n

• \n Mid-level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation - ability to discuss security issues and concerns \n

• \n Demonstrated ability to brief technical and non-technical customers \n

• \n Ability to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognition. \n

• \n Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve technical issues \n, Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence). \n

• \n 4 years of DoD-based system security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation with the ability to discuss security issues and concerns. \n

• \n Prior experience designing and deploying networks. \n

• \n Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation. \n

• \n Prior experience support Department of the Air Force programs. \n

• \n Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems. \n

• \n Prior experience with managing operating systems (Windows or Linux). \n

• \n Experience with the development, maintenance, and validation of Infrastructure As Code (IaC/Terraform). \n

• \n Experience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network. \n

• \n Demonstrable knowledge of test automation and test result analysis., Demonstrable experience in network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability and scalability of features and products..
