Job description

Senior Cyber Security ConsultantLondon, Newcastle, Bristol or Glasgow | Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office | £75,000 - £85,000I am supporting a growing UK-based managed technology services provider that is looking to hire a Senior Cyber Security Consultant.This is a client-facing role, suited to someone who can operate across cyber consultancy, GRC, risk, vulnerability management and security advisory. You will work with a range of clients to assess their security posture, identify gaps, and provide clear, practical recommendations aligned to recognised frameworks and industry best practice. The roleYou will be responsible for:Delivering risk assessments, gap analyses and maturity reviewsAdvising clients on frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS and ISO 27001Conducting vulnerability assessments and identifying areas of security riskSupporting the implementation of security improvements across areas such as MDR, DLP, penetration testing and incident responsePreparing and presenting security reports to technical and non-technical stakeholdersActing as a trusted advisor to clients on cyber and information security topicsManaging multiple client workstreams and ensuring high-quality deliverySupporting sales, pre-sales and leadership teams with tenders, proposals and project scopingContributing to threat briefings, service development and wider security collateralWhat they are looking forThe ideal candidate will have:Experience in a cyber security consultancy or client-facing advisory roleStrong knowledge of GRC frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and Cyber

Requirements
