Principal Scientist in Peptide Technical Services & Manufacturing Science

Lilly seeks a Senior/Principal Scientist in Peptide Technical Services & Manufacturing Science to lead development, optimization, and tech transfer of peptide drug substance and drug product processes. In this role, you will design and scale robust, compliant manufacturing processes, support GMP operations, and drive process validation and continuous improvement across global sites. You will partner closely with R&D, quality, and operations to resolve complex technical issues, author regulatory and CMC documentation, and ensure reliable commercial supply. • Support GMP manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Plan and execute process validation and tech transfer to internal and external sites
• Analyze process data using statistical tools to ensure robustness and scalability
• Author technical reports, protocols, and regulatory/CMC documentation
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and operations to ensure reliable product supply
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ICH, and internal quality standards
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to technical strategy for peptide platforms
