Job description

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Go, microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and distributed systems and will work closely with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Golang (Go).

  • Develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Build distributed and fault-tolerant backend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Go code.
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
  • Implement concurrency and parallel processing using Go goroutines and channels.
  • Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
  • Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on Golang/Go experience.
  • Strong understanding of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, and error handling.
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with distributed systems and backend architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and application performance tools.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms is preferred.
