Job description
- Assembly, installation, and commissioning of new production stations and robotic embodiments, including hardware setup, cabling, and full software/OS configuration.
- Own hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting across Linux-based workstations and robotics hardware, diagnosing and resolving issues that span both hardware and software.
- Work confidently in the Linux terminal for diagnostics, configuration, and system administration, including scripting to automate recurring tasks.
- Maintain and improve GPU-enabled workstations, Docker environments, and related infrastructure.
- Take ownership of unfamiliar or previously unseen technical problems, applying structured debugging and sound judgment to resolve them without needing to be walked through it.
- Build and maintain documentation for issues, fixes, and procedures, and help shape how new equipment and tooling get tested and rolled out.
- Spot recurring problems and propose fixes or process improvements rather than just resolving issues as they come up.
- Take on a variety of ad hoc technical and operational tasks as priorities shift, and help guide less experienced team members when needed.
