Our client is an independent public sector organisation delivering an ambitious programme of digital change. A key priority is the redevelopment of its public-facing website, alongside a wider portfolio of digital improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience, modernising ways of working and improving digital services.

They are now seeking an experienced Digital Delivery & Website Project Support Manager to provide hands-on delivery leadership and act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and external technology suppliers.

Your new role

This is a delivery-focused role centred around the successful redevelopment of the organisation’s website. Previous experience delivering website redevelopment, website transformation or website migration projects is essential.

You will act as the primary point of contact between the organisation and the website development supplier, ensuring delivery remains on track, stakeholders remain engaged and project objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities will include coordinating project plans, managing risks and dependencies, facilitating workshops and meetings, gathering stakeholder feedback, overseeing user testing activities and supporting implementation and acceptance processes.

In addition to the website programme, you will contribute to a range of wider digital initiatives including Microsoft 365 improvements, SharePoint enhancement projects, Copilot adoption, AI-related initiatives and broader business transformation activities.

This role offers the opportunity to work across both strategic and operational workstreams, engaging with senior stakeholders while remaining closely involved in day-to-day delivery.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering website redevelopment, website migration or website transformation projects.
• Experience managing external website development suppliers and delivery partners.
• Previous experience as a Digital Delivery Manager, Digital Project Manager, Product Owner or similar role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and governance activities.
• Experience coordinating workshops, user testing and implementation activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience producing project updates, reports and briefing papers for senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and digital workplace technologies.

Desirable experience includes:

• Public sector or government experience.
• SharePoint Online.
• Microsoft Copilot adoption programmes.
• AI governance or AI implementation initiatives.
• Digital transformation and business improvement programmes.
