Junior Java Software Engineer [$323k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly

• Lead software engineering efforts to extract meaningful value and insights from structured and unstructured data using Java, Python, Scala, and NiFi.
• Develop scalable big data processing workflows, dataflows, and analytics leveraging Apache Spark, Pig, and Hadoop MapReduce.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to implement machine learning algorithms, manage data ontologies, and support cloud-based application suites., * Devise innovative strategies and statistical methods to discover patterns and behaviors across complex datasets.
• Serve as a technical lead guiding development teams, delegating programming and testing tasks, and ensuring strict quality control.
• Build, enhance, and maintain data characterization, data enrichment, and automated ingestion pipelines for various data types including XML, CSV, and JSON.
• Create data queries and maintain integration with relational databases and data repositories.
• Support a suite of web-based applications automating compliant data management, standardization, and movement across enterprise systems.
• Utilize modern cloud and container technologies, maintaining required AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
