Job description
- Design and develop backend services and APIs in Rust.
- Architect and implement authentication and authorization frameworks.
- Apply advanced networking expertise, including TCP/IP protocols, VPN architectures, DNS management, and network security controls.
- Build highly available, scalable service components.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud architectures, focusing on cloud-native design patterns and operational best practices.
- Requires strong Rust application development and optimized application development., * Design and develop backend services and APIs in Rust for a cloud-based platform that manages fleet lifecycle operations including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, firmware updates, and policy enforcement across multiple high assurance devices.
- Architect and implement authentication and authorization frameworks for secure device-to-cloud communication.
- Demonstrate advanced networking expertise including TCP/IP protocols, routing, subnetting, VPN architectures, load balancing strategies, DNS management, and network security controls such as firewalls, security groups, and network segmentation for secure cloud and on-premises environments.
- Build highly available, scalable service components for telemetry ingestion, health monitoring, configuration distribution, and alerting across a distributed device fleet.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of cloud-to-device interactions.
- Familiarity with AWS networking services, tools, infrastructure as code and CDK development.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud architectures with a strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, service integration, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 17+ years
- Total Compensation: $338k+ yearly (tentative), * Experience with Rust application development.
- Experience with compute and memory optimized application development.
