IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer Talent Pool (m/f/d) Are you looking for your next opportunity in a challenging international IT environment? At Tintschl Technik GmbH, we are continuously looking for qualified IT professionals to support exciting projects with leading companies in the aerospace and technology sector. This position is part of our talent pool for current and upcoming IT projects across Germany. Your Tasts Depending on the project and your area of expertise, your responsibilities may include: Administration, operation and further development of complex enterprise IT infrastructures Installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, networks, storage and virtualization environments Administration and support of Windows and/or Linux server environments Management of virtualized infrastructures using technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or comparable platforms Administration and optimization of Data Center infrastructure Operation and support of storage, SAN/NAS and backup environments Implementation and administration of backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions Administration and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, WLAN and Data Center networks Configuration and management of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and network services Support of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other core infrastructure services Monitoring of IT systems, networks and infrastructure performance Analysis and resolution of incidents, problems and technical issues, including root cause analysis Planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations and lifecycle activities Support of IT security, availability, business continuity and infrastructure resilience Automation of recurring infrastructure and operational tasks Coordination with internal teams, external service providers and technology vendors Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operational procedures and configuration standards Support of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes in accordance with ITIL or comparable IT service management frameworks Ensuring compliance with applicable IT security, quality and customer requirements Your Profile Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Telecommunications or a comparable technical field, or relevant vocational training with strong professional experience Professional experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Network Engineering, System Administration or Data Center environments Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Network Engineering Network Security Data Center Infrastructure Server Administration Virtualization Backup & Storage Cloud Infrastructure IT Operations Workplace / VDI Infrastructure
Requirements
Experience with technologies such as VMware, HPE, Dell, NetApp, Veeam, Cisco, Microsoft or comparable enterprise solutions Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN and routing/switching Experience with SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, storage and backup technologies is an advantage Knowledge of firewalls, network security and access management is a strong plus Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure or comparable cloud technologies is an advantage Knowledge of automation or scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible or Terraform is a plus Familiarity with ITIL processes, ticketing systems and enterprise IT service management is desirable Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMware, ITIL or comparable certifications are an advantage Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on approach to technical problems Strong communication skills and ability to work in international and interdisciplinary teams Fluent English is required German language skills are highly desirable Professional careers do not always run perfectly or in a straight line.
