OverviewIn this role you design, build, and operate cloud networking control planes and services for Schwarz Group’s IT hub in Barcelona.You’ll shape scalable network solutions, REST APIs, and automated provisioning in a DevOps-enabled, agile environment.You contribute to distributed architectures with a focus on high availability and performance, while ensuring quality through CI/CD and thorough testing.This position offers a meaningful impact by enabling robust, scalable network products for a global retail ecosystem.ResponsabilidadesDesign, develop, and operate cloud networking control planes (Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, API Gateway)Design and implement scalable REST APIs for network productsDevelop automation for provisioning, configuration, and management of network servicesWork on architecture of distributed systems with emphasis on availability, scalability, and performanceEnsure code quality via reviews, unit/integration tests, and CI/CD improvementsSupport operation of self-developed services in a DevOps setup and troubleshoot complex issuesCollaborate in an agile team and write maintainable, well-documented codeRequisitos principalesDegree in computer science or comparable qualification, or relevant professional experienceExpert in at least one modern programming language, ideally GoSolid experience with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices)Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, gRPC), and databases (SQL/NoSQL)DevOps experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)Team player in an agile environmentGood English skillsBasic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) or strong interest in cloud networkingTeam playerProactive knowledge sharingMaintainable coding with good documentationGo (preferred language)KubernetesDocker
