Job description

Common tasks include: router, firewall, managed switch configuration, software installation, driver and firmware updates, diagnostics, software and hardware troubleshooting, virus / malware removal, e-mail address creation, data transfer, backup / restore.

Requirements

REQUIRED DEGREE, EXPERTISE · Minimum Associates Degree in IT. 2+ Years working experience administering Microsoft 365 / Azure or Windows Server Domains. 2+ Years network experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Remote Desktop, Group Policy, Exchange 2016 or newer, Microsoft 365, Enterprise Antivirus.

REQUIRED IT CERTIFICATION · One or more of these: Microsoft 365 / Azure Associate or Expert, MCSE, MCSA, Cisco CCNA.

PREFERRED EXPERTISE · Cisco Enterprise, routers, firewalls, switches. Experience configuring VLAN’s, VPN’s, NAS devices. Apple experience is beneficial. VOIP experience advantageous. Any exposure to CCTV camera installations is a plus.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS · Must live in Orlando or the immediate vicinity. Professional, customer-friendly and presentable demeanor. Must pass drug and criminal background screening. Must possess a vehicle. Must have a Florida Drivers License.

THE POSITION · Involves troubleshooting software / hardware issues onsite / remotely. Often requires repairs to server / workstation hardware onsite, remotely or at our company location. Configuring / migrating and deploying small / medium business networks of up to 200 workstations. Administration of Microsoft 365 / Azure, Microsoft Windows servers, Exchange, RDS and in some cases Citrix, SQL Server, SAP and other third-party applications.
