Senior Data Governance Consultant

Looking for a Senior data governance consultant who can ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal standards while supporting hybrid work delivery. The role coordinates cross functional partners to strengthen data quality, protection, and ethical AI usage, enabling trusted analytics and mapping solutions that support strategic decisions., * Define and enforce data quality rules across ingestion pipelines and data catalogues

• Set up and manage enterprise data catalogues in metadata, lineage, and asset classification
• Recommend and implement data governance tools suited to the organization
• Engage business users across units to co design governance guardrails and policies
• Drive data mastering strategy from ingestion through to consumption
• Establish data ownership and stewardship models across domains.

• 10 plus years in data governance, data management, or data engineering
• Hands on with DQ rule definition, data catalogue setup and ingestion pipeline governance
• Experienced in evaluating and deploying DG platforms like Purview, Collibra, Alation etc
• Strong communicator able to translate governance concepts for business stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, or GCP and MDM principles.

Preferred:

• DAMA CDMP or equivalent data management credential and relevant privacy or compliance certification.
