Job description

The selected resource will be responsible for database planning, administration, and operational support across DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Requirements

The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of combined database administration experience across the following database platforms, * Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management, and database administration \n

Advanced experience upgrading DB2 for z/OS \n
Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS catalog maintenance \n
Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS subsystem point-in-time recovery \n
Advanced knowledge of JCL \n
In-depth knowledge of the z/OS integrated platform \n
In-depth knowledge of ISPF \n
In-depth knowledge of ASG Scheduler \n
In-depth knowledge of COBOL \n
In-depth experience using and interpreting DB2 for z/OS database monitoring tools \n
In-depth experience using and interpreting z/OS software monitoring tools \n
Solid experience with z/OS started task creation and management \n
Solid knowledge of IBI z/OS service support \n
Solid knowledge of AFOPER commands \n
Solid knowledge of RACF \n
Solid knowledge of CICS \n
Solid knowledge of IOF \n
Working knowledge of z/OS exits \n
Working knowledge of BJS \n, * In-depth knowledge of CA Gen model management and application object support \n
