Over the course of the program, participants receive instructor-led intensive training, hands-on customer experience and mentorship to build technical expertise and sales acumen, preparing them for impactful sales roles within our organization. This program is designed to prepare candidates for product channel sales across seven different Johnson Controls’ business units with a single cohort, summer hiring cadence. In this particular role, you will be supporting Johnson Controls’ Global Data Center Solutions (GDCS) business unit for North America. Johnson Controls draws upon hundreds of successful data center projects worldwide to address the industry’s most pressing challenges: adapting to rapid technological change, sourcing products and services reliably across the globe, and meeting demanding local requirements. Our advanced thermal management, controls, security and fire protection systems are designed to address these challenges, accelerating deployment, improving efficiency and ensuring reliable operations. During the first six months of the program, the entire ACE cohort will be based out of Milwaukee WI working at Johnson Controls’ HQ office in the northwest suburb of Glendale WI. At the end of month six, you will be required to relocate to a predetermined assigned location where upon program graduation you will transition to an inside sales role covering accounts in a specific territory. For Summer 2027, we have one (1) available location: Milwaukee WI or York PA (Hybrid) How you will do it Complete all required ACE foundational sales training Manage Data Center leads from industry conferences, website inquiries, webinar attendees, etc. Provide overall inside sales support to the Data Center sales teams (both account managers and technical sellers) Support customers’ Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) Manage account planning and hygiene cadences with sales team Assist sales team with CRM opportunity pipeline management Attend frequent training sessions to build Data Center product knowledge, basic sales tactics and soft skills.
