Job description
Requirements for a Senior Software Engineer position:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience designing modular, maintainable software architectures with testability in mind.Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Python, etc.Experience with desktop application development (WPF, MVVM, or similar).Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of projects.Experience integrating manufacturing software with cloud-based data collection, analytics, or IoT platforms is a plus.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is often a plus.Certifications or advanced training in relevant technologies can be beneficial.Experience with industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing systems, motion control, instrumentation, or mechatronic systems is highly desirable.Specifics to roleLeading and participating in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions related to MFG SW applications.Mentoring and guiding junior engineers in best practices and development methodologies.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design architecture, and prioritize tasks.Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in various programming languages.Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.Identifying and addressing technical debt and performance bottlenecks.Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production environments (Primarily support European Production Factories)Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance principles.Role based in Barcelona, SpainRole will Report to Director of AME or Principal Engineer / ManagerRecommend Understanding MFG & Service test structure
