Job description

An energetic, dynamic and rapidly growing Online Marketing Agency is seeking a PHP Developer to join their team. The company takes pride in providing an excellant environment which encourages creativity and collaborative team working.

Requirements

  • Computer Science (or similar) degree with a 2:1 or above
  • 3+ years experience creating web sites with Object Oriented PHP & MySQL
  • Solid experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as Yii, Laravel, Zend, Symfony & CodeIgniter - Yii preferred, but others are sufficient.
  • Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Experience with development tools - Git, Grunt, Gulp, Bower…etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong analytical and technical mindset

Desirable

  • Experience with js frameworks
  • Experience with command line Unix / LAMP based server management, You’re smart, get stuff done, have great energy, and would thrive in a startup environment. You will have completed a Computer Science or related degree and have a strong background in OO PHP, MVC frameworks and MySQL. As well as a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

You will be a self starter and enthusiastic about coding - you will have completed several side projects just for the joy of learning code!

Benefits & conditions

£30-£35k depending on experience
