EHR Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced EHR Security Analyst / Technical Support Analyst to support and maintain electronic health record system security, user provisioning, and technical compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing EHR access controls, resolving complex security and permissions issues, and collaborating across technical and operational teams to safeguard patient data and system integrity., * Configure, manage, and audit user security positions, roles, and access within Cerner / Oracle Health Millennium and OHPAC environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex EHR access issues, security incidents, and permission requests.
• Utilize Discern and Cerner Command Language (CCL) to query databases, build reports, and analyze security configurations.
• Support identity and access management workflows, integrating with Active Directory (AD), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Ensure EHR systems align with healthcare compliance standards and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and HITECH.
• Collaborate closely with clinical informatics, IT infrastructure, compliance officers, and end users to deliver seamless security support.

• At least 3 years of healthcare IT experience.
• In-depth understanding of Cerner / Oracle Health Millennium and OHPAC security positions and user architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CCL (Cerner Command Language) and Discern tools.
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills specifically focused on EHR security and user access issues.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD), SSO, MFA, and general identity governance.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT infrastructure concepts, including network fundamentals, firewalls, and database security.
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare security regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and meaningful use standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge technical requirements and end-user needs.

• Strong Understanding of EHR Systems, specifically OH/Cerner (Highly Desired 3 Years)
• Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, meaningful user and other healthcare security regulations (Highly Desired 3 Months)
• Experience with Active Directory (AD), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity management solutions. (Highly Desired 3 Years)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills related to Cerner/OHPAC security and access issues. (Required 3 Years)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with IT teams, compliance officers, and end users. (Required 3 Years)
• Familiarity with healthcare IT infrastructure, including networking, firewalls, and database security. (Highly Desired 3 Years)
