Job description

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to automate and operate infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, configuration, observability, and platform services for a Federal data analytics and AI modernization initiative.

The team will deliver a secure, scalable platform that integrates structured and unstructured data, provides data visualization and traceable AI-assisted analytics, and gives examiners centralized tools for search, review, monitoring, and decision support. The platform will support professional judgment and will not replace authoritative agency financial or grants-management systems or execute financial transactions., * Build and maintain Linux-based environments, containerized workloads, and platform services.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, secrets management, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Configure and operate infrastructure supporting applications, databases, data pipelines, and AI/ML workloads.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across infrastructure and platform services.
  • Support networking, scalability, high availability, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, performance, and platform reliability issues.
  • Develop technical documentation covering infrastructure architecture, configurations, deployment procedures, monitoring, maintenance, and recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, data science, AI/ML, and security teams throughout development and deployment.
  • Apply security, privacy, data governance, and compliance requirements throughout infrastructure and platform operations., To enhance efficiency, fairness, and accuracy, Analytica may use AI-assisted tools to support certain aspects of our hiring process.
  • Application Review: AI tools may help identify skills and experiences relevant to the role.
  • Interview Support: AI-powered notetaking tools may be used during interviews to document discussions and summarize key points.

Requirements

  • Experience with platform engineering and infrastructure automation in enterprise or Federal environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, configuration management, secrets management, and artifact management.
  • Experience building and operating infrastructure supporting applications, databases, data pipelines, or AI/ML workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, networking, scalability, high availability, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, and recovery.
  • Experience with automated deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, system reliability, and secure infrastructure practices.
  • Strong technical communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility.
  • Active Top Secret clearance highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering infrastructure solutions in secure Federal, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and/or Rancher.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with self-hosted Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration and system automation.
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Java and/or .NET application environments.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML and open-source AI model infrastructure.
  • Experience with container orchestration, service networking, and platform security.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, centralized logging, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery solutions.
