Technology Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to join a leading global organisation, supporting a UK-based business within a highly regulated environment., * Define and deliver end-to-end technology and solution architectures.

• Lead architecture governance and design authorities for major projects and programmes.
• Develop architecture patterns, solution designs and technical infrastructure designs.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technology solutions.
• Provide architectural assurance, risk management and technical leadership.
• Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.
• Support technology strategy, platform modernisation and legacy system retirement.
• Lead technology evaluations, RFI/RFP processes and supplier assurance.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to other architects.

• Senior-level architecture experience across infrastructure, cloud and application technologies.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, hybrid cloud and enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, networking, databases and security technologies.
• Experience with integration and middleware technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, Boomi, JBoss or WebLogic.
• Strong understanding of security, resilience, high availability and performance.
• Experience working within regulated environments, architecture governance and design authorities.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, CI/CD and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with architectural modelling and documentation using tools such as ArchiMate, C4, draw.io, ADOIT or Mermaid.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, from technical teams through to senior executives.
• An interest in emerging AI/LLM technologies and their practical application within enterprise architecture.
