Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for staff with strong application knowledge who want to take on specialist-level responsibilities, lead improvement activity and support the development of our digital capability across the Trust.

  • Need to be HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Provide second-line and specialist support for designated clinical and business applications
  • Lead investigations into complex or recurring issues and coordinate supplier escalations, * You will act as the specialist subject matter expert for PACS, RIS and Epic Radiant/Lumens, providing advanced support, configuration expertise and workflow optimisation to ensure systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
  • As a HCPC Registered Diagnostic Radiographer, the postholder will utilise their clinical expertise and knowledge of diagnostic imaging workflows to support service development, digital transformation and optimisation of imaging applications.
  • The role involves providing specialist technical and user support, participating in application upgrades and enhancements, leading complex problem resolution, supporting clinical safety activities and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Or, has specialist experience supporting digital or clinical systems
  • Understands configuration, change control, testing and incident/problem management
  • Communicates complex concepts clearly to clinical and non-clinical users
  • Has strong analytical, problem-solving and workflow-mapping skills
  • Can work autonomously, prioritise effectively and contribute to sprint delivery
  • Experience with Epic or other enterprise-level clinical applications is desirable. Full training and CPD opportunities will be provided.
