Job description

A leading and awarding winning organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to join a growing division within the group., * To identify, analyse and interpret data and review trends in spend across client groups, client demographics and providers

  • Assist with idea creation and specification requirements for appropriate reporting mechanisms and functionality
  • Develop and implement data collection systems (in conjunction with Implementation and IT) to optimize data quality and presentation
  • Develop guidance for the recording and reporting of trend/spend analysis
  • Manage key analytical projects identified and ensure objectives are met
  • Pro-actively communicating with all parties providing relevant information to:
  • CST
  • Adhere to all internal processes and procedures at all times
  • Further tasks deemed appropriate by your line manager and/or the Management Team

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse and disseminate information
  • Ability to project manage and keep all stakeholders informed with the presentation of findings
  • Creativity around IT data collection solutions and improvements
  • Critical thinking with an ability to interrogate data and analyse it to find conclusions
  • Decision making skills and ability to use own initiative and work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including with complex ideas
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA and Word
  • The ability to demonstrate customer led thinking
  • The ability to plan and organise own workload, being adept at multitasking and working well under pressure
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • A diplomatic open style and approach
  • Vibrant, with a proactive approach to work and a can do attitude
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions with the “bigger picture” in mind
  • Ability to identify when problems require escalation, The successful applicant will need to be a proactive individual who will be able to take this new role forward with a high standard of analytical support.

Exceptional communication skills are required as this role will liaise with multiple layers, from Board Directors to external suppliers/clients.
