Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle POD Lead to take ownership of the Oracle database platform workstream, leading the build, configuration, migration, and transition of Oracle environments into a target platform.

You will lead DBA engineers through all stages of the migration lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of database migration, validation, reconciliation, performance optimisation, and operational readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the build and configuration of Oracle platform components within the target environment.
• Direct DBA engineers through migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Translate technical designs into operational solutions and ensure integration with the wider infrastructure platform.
• Resolve Oracle platform issues and support performance and scalability testing.
• Support governance approvals and transition activities into BAU support.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across the Oracle workstream.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong Oracle Database Administration (DBA) and Oracle platform leadership experience.
• Proven background delivering Oracle database migration and reconciliation projects.
• Experience with database validation, cutover planning, and operational transition.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure integration and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and database engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Active SC (Security Check) Clearance is essential and must be held.
