Job description
The Amazon Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making across our Amazon business. This role is responsible for building reporting infrastructure, analyzing business performance, and transforming complex marketplace data into actionable insights that guide strategy across sales, advertising, and inventory planning., * Analyze Amazon sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, inventory, pricing, and profitability to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track Amazon business KPIs including sales, conversion, ACOS, ROAS, and inventory health.
- Leverage Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Brand Analytics, third-party platforms, and internal data to generate actionable business insights.
- Conduct product, category, and SKU-level analysis to evaluate performance, profitability, and growth potential
- Analyze advertising and promotional performance to assess efficiency and overall business impact.
- Develop forecasting models to support sales planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
- Prepare monthly business reviews and translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with Amazon Business, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to drive data-informed decisions, while improving reporting automation and data accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles, ideally within e-commerce or Amazon
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Understanding of eCommerce metrics including traffic, conversion, sales, margin, advertising performance, and inventory.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Marketing Stream or Selling Partner API (SP-API)
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Experience in beauty, CPG, or retail industry
