Software Developer

CTG is seeking a Software Developer to design and lead scalable, secure, mission-driven technical solutions supporting federal modernization initiatives. This role focuses on end-to-end solution architecture across applications, integrations, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise systems while partnering closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and delivery teams. You Will Get To

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services
• Translate business and product requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions
• Build backend services and APIs using Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK
• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL and implement application integrations and data flows
• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver software
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, cloud adoption, and application modernization
• Apply secure coding practices and support performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Document technical solutions and development processes, Develop Python software and data systems that capture, validate, process, monitor, and deliver autonomous-vehicle telemetry from fleets to cloud and AI development pipelines. Own reliability initiatives, define architectures and operational metrics, debug distributed cloud and backend issues, improve observability and data quality, and apply AI/LLMs to incident triage and root-cause analysis. Collaborate across engineering and operations teams, lead design reviews, deliver tested production solutions, and mentor engineers. We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $75k-$110k annually.
